CarPlay for your weekend play

With the MB Quart GMR7V1 digital media receiver, you enjoy all the great features of Apple® CarPlay® while you're enjoying the great outdoorst. In addition to playing music, you can make calls, view maps, and access messages from your compatible iPhone through this marine-rated receiver. There's Android conparibility, too, plus two-zone capability, LED light control, and more. All in all, it's one heck of a package.

Apple® control

You can tune in to AM/FM/Weather radio, of course, and you can also stream music from your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device. Simple Secure Pairing makes it easy to get connected. There are also two rear-mounted USB ports that'll work with your favorite music storage device.

That's all great, but the big news with the GMR-7V1 is that it works with Apple CarPlay. With CarPlay, you can connect an Apple iPhone 5 or newer (iOS 7.1+) via USB and do the things you want to do with your phone without losing focus on the task at hand. Using this intuitive interface, you can make calls, view maps, listen to music, and access messages from your compatible iPhone through your GMR-7V1. You can control these functions from the receiver's touchscreen or activate Siri.

Note: An optional microphone (sold separately) is required for using Siri or making hands-free calls.

Android, also

MB Quart didn't forget about Android phone users. The AutoLink app for Android OS 5.0 and up lets you connect your compatible Android smartphone to the GMR-7V1's USB 2 port. With the app, you'll be able to mirror your Android smartphone's screen on the GMR-7V1's touchscreen, listen to audio content from your Android device through the stereo speakers, and control your smartphone from the touchscreen.

Outstanding sound

The GMR-7V1 provides all the audio flexibility you need for a boat install. This receiver doesn't have a built-in amplifier, but it does have three pairs of rear-mounted preamp outputs, so you can add an MB Quart marine amp (sold separately). The GMR-7V1 is dual-zone capable, so you can control the volume in two areas.

If you like to customize your sound this receiver has the features you want. You'll get independent high-pass crossover filters for the Zone 1 and Zone 2 preouts, plus the subwoofer preouts utilize their own low pass crossover which can be set to suit your sound.

The GMR-7V1 offers six EQ presets (Flat, Pop, Classic, Rock, Jazz, and User) for quick and easy audio adjustment to suit your genre of music or personal preference. The User EQ preset allows you to fine-tune your music even more using the 10-band EQ.

More control for more stuff

The GMR-7V1 features a 4-wire RGB output and built-in controls that allow you to connect and configure external LED lighting. The auxiliary switching system is designed to power accessories such as light bars, dome lights, boat anchor lights, rock lights, or anything that needs a 12-volt switch to function.

There's also a pair of composite video camera inputs, so you can add both a rear camera and front camera (cameras sold separately). The video images will be seen on the receiver's touchscreen monitor or on an external monitor connected to the unit's composite video output.
