Pioneer's been at the forefront of these trends for years, and now they've upped the ante with the DMH-WT6000NEX multimedia receiver. This receiver is built for the future, incorporating Pioneer's innovative technology designed for today's drivers — CES-X.

CES-X

The DMH-WT6000NEX embodies Pioneer's concept of CES-X: Convenience, Entertainment, Safety, and Expandability. The convenience of a luminous navigation bar, excellent smartphone integration for entertainent, the safety of a streamlined and customizable user interface, and the ability to expand your system with backup cameras and other add-ons make this Pioneer's most advanced receiver yet.

Optimized for ease of use

The DMH-WT6000NEX features Pioneer's highest quality display yet, with over ten inches of room to give you the best screen images ever. Most receivers have LCD displays, but this receiver's LED-backlit 720P capacitive touchscreen display has a higher resolution and a much greater dynamic range from light to dark than LCD screens, so you'll enjoy better contrast, brightness, and clarity with videos, camera views, and complex screen layouts. The screen features Light and Dark modes so you can customize the display, and it can be moved forward and back, up and down, left and right, and tilted

New luminous bar display

The light show doesn't stop with the screen. Pioneer's exclusive luminous bar interface above the screen gives you turn-by-turn guidance in navigation mode by pulsing in the direction of turns and changing size as you near the turn. When you're grooving to your music, the bar's illumination syncs to your music or bass so you can hear and see your music (vehicle must be stationary).

Easy-to-use controls

Physical buttons along the top edge of the screen control volume and the Mute function so you can keep your eyes on the road. Hard keys on the screen's border let you control important functions with physical feedback. A Direct key opens CarPlay and Android Auto from any screen, and the screen's quick swipe control feature switches from the Home screen to Apple CarPlay or Android Auto with just a touch.

Customize your screen with PxLink

Pioneer's PxLink app lets you unlock even more display options, including setting customizable wallpapers from your phone images. Split-screen mode reserves a portion of the screen for easy access to key features and controls, while dual-screen mode lets you use your phone as a second display or a remote control. PxLink even lets you customize the screen's shortcut key layout.

Advanced sound controls

Pioneer's Advanced Sound Retriever (ASR) restores music data lost to compression to make your low-res audio files sound better than ever, while their Automatic Sound Levelizer automatically adjusts the volume level using the vehicle's speed information. You'll also get a 13-band graphic EQ and a Bass Boost control.

When you're ready to expand your system, six 4-volt preamp outputs supply connections for multi-channel and subwoofer amps. This receiver is ready for modern car cams, with two rear-panel inputs and built-in parking assist lines that work with any backup camera. And that's all contained in a single-DIN (2" tall) chassis that fits many vehicles.

Cutting-edge phone integration

Modern smartphone integration using Android Auto and Apple CarPlay has greatly expanded phone use options. Pioneer gives you both platforms in this receiver along with some other proprietary bells and whistles.

Android Auto (wireless or wired): Android Auto integrates the Android platform into your driving experience in a non-distracting way. You'll have voice control access to Google Maps, weather, music, your phone, and text messages, plus easy access to many of your favorite apps. Get more info at www.android.com/auto.

Apple CarPlay (wireless or wired): CarPlay integrates your iPhone® into the driving experience, putting iPhone content at the driver's voice command with minimal distraction. WebLink™: WebLink gives you simple in-dash control over select apps. Watch YouTube videos, use apps like Waze and Yelp, or play music from your phone.

Screen mirroring: If you use apps unsupported by Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, this receiver will mirror your Android and iPhone screen, giving you touchscreen control over your favorite phone features. Requires wired USB connection.

Amazon Alexa: With the Weblink and Vozsis apps installed on your phone you can use Alexa voice control to play music, hear the news, check weather, control smart home devices, and more.

Bluetooth® for hands-free calling and streaming

Bluetooth's wireless connection with your phone makes calling simple so you can keep your hands on the wheel and eyes on the road — you'll hear whomever you're calling on your car's audio system and they'll hear you loudly and clearly, courtesy of Pioneer's included external microphone. Bluetooth also enables wireless streaming for music, podcasts, and audiobooks too.

Spotify®, HD Radio™, and satellite radio compatibility

You can access Pandora® or Spotify® through Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa. The DMH-WT6000NEX also features an HD Radio tuner for much-improved AM/FM sound quality when you're tuned into a local participating station, and there's no subscription required. If you're hankering for even more entertainment, step up to satellite radio programming by adding a SiriusXM tuner.

Enjoy your high-res music

Get the most out of your library and load your high-res FLAC, WAV, and DSD music files onto a thumb drive — Pioneer builds a rear USB input so you can access that music. A rear aux input gives you the option of playing from an older portable music player as well.

iDatalink and Axxess support

Axxess' and iDatalink's adapter modules help retain factory features such as steering wheel audio controls and vehicle menus, and allow you to view gauges, climate controls, and other vehicle information on your new screen. Once you've identified your vehicle, you'll see the iDatalink module offered on the way to the Shopping Cart if it's compatible.
